About: Nipa Banerjee served as the head of Canada’s aid program in Afghanistan (2003-06). She currently teaches at the School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa in Canada. She frequently visits Kabul in her capacity as a Senior Policy Implementation Advisor to the government of Afghanistan.
