The Government of India

IndiaThe Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) is the key government department contact for this project. DoPT acts as the formulator of policy and the watchdog of the Government ensuring that certain accepted standards and norms, as laid down by it, are followed by all Ministries/Departments in the recruitment, regulation of service conditions and posting transfers and deputation of personnel as well as other related issues. DoPT also advises all organizations of the Central Government on issues of Personnel Management.

The Maxwell School

MaxwellThe Maxwell School of Syracuse University is the premier academic institution in the United States committed to scholarship, civic leadership, and education in public and international affairs. Maxwell is home to Syracuse University’s social science departments and to numerous nationally recognized multidisciplinary graduate programs in public policy, international studies, social policy, and conflict resolution. Maxwell's graduate program in public administration -- the first of its kind in the nation -- is ranked consistently the leading graduate public affairs program in the country.

The Phase IV project is being developed through Executive Education, which was established in 1964 to expand the ability of the Maxwell School to execute programs across the U.S. and around the world.

IIMB

IIMBIIMB was established in 1973 by the Government of India as a Centre of Excellence in Management. IIMB conducts cutting edge management and public policy programmes that equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills for a global environment. The programmes train participants to succeed in a rapidly evolving and competitive milieu where continuous innovation is crucial to productivity and growth. IIMB offers Post Graduate and Doctoral level programmes of international standards and executive education for senior and middle management levels. IIMB, with its full-time faculty of over 80 highly qualified professionals, strives to achieve excellence through partnerships with industry, government and leading academic & policy institutions, the world over.

The project will be directed by the Centre for Public Policy (CPP). CPP undertakes a range of different policy activities. These include rigorous analysis and research based on strong practitioners’ inputs, open debates and dialogues through seminars and conferences, policy advice and consultancy for Central and State Governments and networking and collaboration with Government Institutions such as ATIs, ICSSR and other Institutes. These activities have resulted in value addition for Government at the Central and State levels by supporting policy design, administrative reforms, functional reviews of departments, and project and programme evaluation.

LBSNAA

The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, India's premier research and training institute on administration and public policy, is located in Mussoorie, 2000 meters above sea level, in the foothills of Himalayas. It is 300 road kilometers from the national capital, New Delhi. The LBSNAA represents an interesting confluence of academic rigour and intellectual freedom. The campus is a virtual melting pot where people across generations,from every part of our country and beyond, come in contact with each other. It is a place where participants from every state of our diverse country, speaking different languages, with diverse qualifications and socio-educational backgrounds meet, interact and learn from each other.
